VIRTUAL REALITY & THE METAVERSE

Here you’ll find my work in virtual reality.

In 2008, I founded a project called the Virtual Art Initiative (VAI), which was a collaboration by 30+ artists from several countries, all of whom were content creators in virtual worlds. Besides organizing various exhibitions of virtual art online, VAI sponsored real-life exhibitions in galleries in Boston, Amsterdam, Milan, Southern France, and Florida’s Space Coast. My own virtual artwork has been exhibited in Canada, the United States, and Florence, Italy. I was also asked to write a chapter on virtual art for The Handbook of Virtuality, published by Oxford University Press in 2014 and edited by Mark Grimshaw. Below, you can find an except from that piece and samples from my own work as well as material by several artists from the in-world and real-life exhibitions by VAI.
